A Poem From Home

I enjoy using poems in messages and lessons. There is a poem that I memorized from a young boy about being thankful. This poem hung on our kitchen wall for years. I remember it most vividly at our house at 3509 Kent Ln. It says this...
Thank God for dirty dishes,
They have a tale to tell,
While others may go hungry,
We're eating very well.
With home, health, and happiness,
I shouldn't want to fuss,
For by the stack of evidence,
God's been very good to us!
We need to always be thankful for what we have, even if it's a mess. Just remember, some don't have anything to make a mess with.

I've always loved that poem. Good to read it again.

I have the same poem in a small frame to the right of my kitchen sink. Always loved it. Love poetry and loved the pics of your kids on Grandma's post. Hope the snow was the snowman kind and they got to make a snowman. Stay warm.
